"The Frew River runs behind Epenarra. This is where I live. We go swimming and fishing on the river." Epenarra artists Rochelle Bonney has painted a landscape at Frew River, an ephemeral river that runs through Iytwelepenty (The Davenport Ranges). Different coloured dots have been applied in the colours of the river, scrub, sandhills sky, trees and sun. Some dots coalesce to the point that they are almost indistinguishable while others have a smaller white dot painted inside, adding depth and texture to the work.
