Collection: Daisy Ngwarreye Peterson

"Daisy started painting in 2005 in her hometown of Epenarra. She used to watch her aunts Jessie, Rita and Topsy, all very talented artists and well known on the art market. It was they who passed on to Daisy her passion for painting.

She loves painting the landscapes of her ancestors, medicinal flowers and the tucker bush.
Daisy loves to share her own adventures and stories with the people she meets through her artwork.

Daisy has many interests. She loves discovering the art, design and culture of other artists. She takes great pleasure in sharing with other artists.
Today, Daisy looks after her elderly Aunt Topsy, and is a great help to her family. She comes to paint with Topsy at the Barkly Art Center in Tennant Creek, where she now lives."
