Alyawarr woman Edwina Napangarti Pope is an emerging member of the Tennant Creek based Tartukula Artists group. Edwina's works are grounded in cultural knowledge, she uses art as a medium for recording stories of bush tuckers and medicines and telling old stories about Country. Edwina takes an experimental approach to painting, her work is notable for her rich but limited palette and rhythmic mark marking, often used to emphasise figurative depictions of bush tuckers.
