Departing from the dot-heavy landscapes that play a large part in the Epenarra Artists' style, Jimmy Rubuntja paints his landscape in a more traditionally painterly fashion. Burnt eucalypts, and emus are in the foreground of the painting, which recedes into rolling orange dunes an ultimately towards a large hill cloaked in the blue light of late sunset.
