Collection: Zachary O'Donnell
Emerging artist Zachary O'Donnell is a Gamilaroi man who grew up on Waramungu Country in Tennant Creek. Zachary uses art as a vehicle to connect with and share his cultural heritage. Employing a distinctively contemporary palette, Zachary uses heavy dotting to create graphic lines which traverse the canvas in complex layers. Zachary's dramatic use of line and colour evoke the rhythm of the ancient stories he depicts as they ebb and flow across the canvas, ever a reminder of the rich the visual storytelling tradition of which he is a part.
